I grew up an avid reader. The books I chose were often beyond my years, but they took me to places I had never been, or times forgotten.
Today I write full time and do so for several reasons. One, I happen to love words. Two, it is my goal to give readers an opportunity to step out of their world and into another. One which makes them laugh, cry, connect with the characters, root for them, get angry at them, but mostly to feel deeply. My novels are fast-paced, contemporary with a touch of literary, and lots of twisty turns. Some are rife with family drama, secrets, and betrayals. And while they are not romance novels, the characters just might get a second chance at love.
